Mission Update: JCTC OT Students - All Treats

All Treats and No Tricks from JCTC Occupational Therapy Students!

Once again, our friends from Jefferson Community and Technical College have proven themselves as good neighbors and faithful supporters of Wayside Christian Mission.  Several energetic and imaginative occupational therapy students led by Holly Neal organized a fun-filled Halloween party for the boys and girls living in our family shelter on West Broadway. Besides the assortment of sweet treats, there were games with prizes, scary face painting, and colorful pumpkin painting!  Cruela DeVil and her spotted Dalmatian "puppies" made a surprise appearance, too. Best of all, the JCTC team gave generously of themselves!  Holly Neal explained, "It's been a wonderful service learning opportunity and such a joy to work with the children and families of Wayside!" Well said, Holly, and please know that we are equally grateful to your team for giving our boys and girls plenty of reasons to smile!
