Mission update - REM donates

REM Earns Mission's Gratitude!

From a humble business enterprise that once operated from atop a kitchen table, REM Laundry Company in Versailles has grown into a top industrial laundry equipment sales leader that occupies a spacious 15,000 square foot building in Versailles as well as a second shop in Nashville.  While REM's Mark Moore is pleased by the business' growth in spite of today's troubled economy, he is equally enthused by the firm's  family-like atmosphere that fosters high employee morale. In fact, the average REM employee has been with the company for well over ten years!  This is quite a testimonial!  Last year, REM donated two commercial grade washing machines to Wayside Christian Mission, but when Mark Moore learned that we had recently lost one of our commercial clothes dryers in a fire, he was quick in replacing the lost machine with a newly rebuilt model!  With over six hundred-fifty women, men, and children in our care, our laundry equipment is put to the test every day.   Corporate partners such as Mark Moore of REM are vital to our work.  The job is too big for us alone. We depend upon the goodwill and generosity of charitable-minded businesses who stand with us in the battle against homelessness.  Thank you, REM, for the two washing machines and the clothes dryer!  We are grateful!
