November 3, Sunshine "Joe" Mallard will be featured at the Wayside
Expressions Gallery along with the Grateful Threads during the city-wide
"Trolley Hop" from 5-9:00pm.

November 5, Helane Blumfield, Owner, The Point NYC and a representative of The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA) will discuss the
therapeutic value of needle art WOW Girlz Live Radio Talk Show on WAVG 1450AM from 5-6pm.

November 12, Michael Stoops, Acting Executive Director, National
Coalition for the Homeless will be on WOW Girlz Live Radio Talk Show on WAVG 1450AM from 5-6pm to kick off Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week.

November 13-18, there will be an exhibit of ScrumbleThon creations and
other theme needle art displayed at the Kentucky Center.

November 18, ScrumbleThon will be held at the Louisville School of
Massage, 7410 New La Grange Rd. during National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week November 12-18 from 10:00am to 6:00pm. ScrumbleThon is a combination of wellness education and a knittery/stitchery team event-Stitching Hearts Together with Love. Teams are being formed and they will create needle art items in different categories (all items to be donated to the homeless population). During ScrumbleThon events, information will be provided for personal wellness and address the issue of hunger and homelessness.
